hey guys you must have been thinking of using a linux or other OS. but were scared of partitioning your hard disk or fed up of low speed live cds.

Bingo! i have a solution that solves both of these problems

we will boot our other OS from pendrive.NICE right!

here i will show you how to do it.

first you need to install a software named unetbootin-windows. you can download it from#mce_temp_url#

then you need to click on the selected file

in the bottom select the usb drive.in my computer its G:\ drive.

when the setup is complete it will prompt you to reboot.

during reboot or when computer restarts type F12 or watever key that is assigned in your computer for entering boot menu.In boot menu go and change the boot sequence .

previously it should be like hard disk>cd-rom>usb device.........!

u need to change it to usb device>hard-disk>cd-rom......! this can be done by + or  -  sign.

when its done you are ready to go :)

restart and you have your own working portable OS .

The most important advantage its has over live cds is that it is portable and being a solid stage storage device much faster too :))

you guys have must have noticed the black green command prompt in every hacking movies.well you can also have the same for your computer too..here is a minor setting you need to do.

first click on cmd

fd

type color 0a ; here 0 is zero



wohoooooo :) the screen has changed ..enjoy the new geeky feel of your command prompt :)

this is the first screen you get after opening oracle virtual box...the first thing you do is to click into new to create a new virtual machine.

a new window of create new machine pops out , click on it..a new window will open

this window will ask for the name of virtual machine and the type of os..here in my case the os is fedora which is a linux distribution.after you are done dere a new window pops out.

This step is very crucial, here you allot the ram of the virtual machine you are creating , its just like the ram of your computer.you can go till the maximum line till the green is there.minimum ram should be 512mb for it to work properly.

this windows lets you create a new hard disk..the minimum memory of the new VM is 10 gb. click on it and proceed.

here comes a create new virtual hard disk wizard window.click on next.

In this next step the hard disk storage type is being asked , you need to select dynamically expanding storage for better performance.

Then click on the VM you just created to set the ISO image of the OS you want to install.

Select the ISO image by clicking on the folder icon. And then click on the add button on the top left of the window to select the ISO image of  OS

finally click on the next button to finish the job to creating a VM or VIRTUAL MACHINE.

now click on the VM and you are ready to go and enjoy the new OS you just now installed.
